This exquisitely restored, stone village house nestles under the ruins of the castle in the oldest part of the small town of Salernes, the pottery centre of Provence.
The southerly panoramic views lead the eye over the rooftops of the town to the rolling, wooded hills and forests beyond.
A few minutes walk down steps or along the lanes leads to "La Place" shaded by platan trees, surrounded by bakers, bars, shops & bistros.
Our week-end retreat comprises of an entrance hall (with a single pull-out bed) a separate w/c & hand-basin & an elegant shower-room with full sized semi-circular shower & wash-basin and the stairway leading to the upper floor,
The open plan upper floor consists of a large study - sitting room with a firm, comfortable queen size (5') bed. An archway leads to the spacious fully fitted kitchen-dining room.
The house is equipped with refrigerator, electric hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine.
